The October 20th issue of the Forest Lake Times included a couple letters to the editor concerning the school board election. One highlighted public concerns about the Bulmer, Christenson, Proulx sign violation. The Forest Lake Times published an article concerning the violation of campaign laws in the Forest Lake Area School Board election. According to court documents, a judge has found "probable cause" that three candidates (Bulmer, Christenson, & Proulx) violated campain finance laws. A panel of administrative law judges will soon determine potential repercussions they may face.Update: The Pioneer Press posted an update on the campain finance violation. According to the article all 3 candidates were fined for violating campain finance laws.
